HVAC Rebates in Michigan

HVAC rebates in Michigan can help reduce the cost of qualifying upgrades. If you are planning a repair or replacement, J&J Sheet Metal of Michigan can help you look over the current options and explain the steps to get started.

In 2026, most rebates come from utility programs and equipment manufacturers. The federal 25C tax credit for qualifying heat pumps, furnaces and air conditioners ended on December 31, 2025, so equipment installed in 2026 does not qualify. Details are on our tax credits page.

Consumers Energy and DTE Energy run residential efficiency programs that have offered rebates on high-efficiency furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and smart thermostats. Amounts, equipment lists and deadlines change by program year, and some programs require a participating contractor or an application within a set number of days after installation, so check before you sign.

Manufacturer promotions on brands like Gibson and Frigidaire change through the year, and our current coupons are on our special offers page. If rebates do not cover enough of the cost, financing can spread out the rest. We provide the itemized invoice, model numbers and installation date that rebate applications usually ask for.
